Large Volume Production

The latest in CNC Punching CAD/CAM technology.

We undertake small to large volume production work using sheet up to 6mm thick and 2500mm wide. With the latest in CAD/CAM technology we are able nest both complex & assorted components onto as single sheet with great efficiency as well as high volumes of identical part.

Punching operations that can be carried out include blanking, punching and nibbling as well as dimpling and shaving.

Our punch is capable of up to 400 hits per minute which allows for a high through put even on the most densly nested sheet.

The Benefits Of Waterjet Cutting

Materials

Virtually any sheet material can be cut using this method (with the exception of toughened glass and diamond).

Materials from 45cm to a few millimetres thick can be cut with ease

Cut without heat damage to source material

Waterjet cutting does not have a heat source, so metals and other materials can be cut without harming or changing their intrinsic properties

Detailed Design Possibility

The kerf (width of cut) can be adjusted to suit the job in hand, as can the size and type of abrasive. The more detailed the design, the narrower the kerf and finer the abrasive.

Accurate Cold manufacture

The finished piece is cold, so can be handled immediately.
Multi-batch or single items can be manufactured quickly and accurately. Typical tolerance is +/-0.1mm
